Breathe: Places To Go For 'Om' In St. Louis

If physical fitness is your way to unwind, we suggest trying Bikram Yoga. There are many locations throughout the St. Louis area including, Hot Yoga Midwest, Bikram Yoga St. Louis and Bikram Yoga Chesterfield. Bikram incorporates breathing techniques, high temperatures and a series of stretching and poses. The poses are intentionally simpler than other forms of yoga because breathing, meditation and dedication to the practice are what Bikram yogis say are the major benefits. Bikram is a favorite around the ALIVE office. Upon heading to your first class our Account Executive Molly Ross suggests, “Concentrate and hydrate,” for success.

We’ve mentioned it before, but the abundance of parks and trails in St. Louis is quite impressive. Taking a daily walk during your lunch period or relaxing at a park after a stressful workday does wonders.
