Local and national fashion bloggers get social in St. Louis.
Fashion bloggers hailing from New York to Los Angeles were treated to a slew of festivities during Saint Louis Fashion Week that had them connecting with locals and spreading some love for STL. Muzio, a curated social sharing app, mapped out the city for more than 30 national and local influencers, taking them on a guided tour that helped them see, share, photograph and enjoy the sights and sounds around town.
The day began with brunch and a panel discussion at the headquarters of St. Louis-based global footwear giant Brown Shoe Company, where designers and professionals educated the group on the Brown Shoe family of brands, including Via Spiga, Franco Sarto, Fergie and Sam Edelman.
The crew then headed to Forest Park to peruse the new East Building of the Saint Louis Art Museum . The bloggers were encouraged to share their experiences along the way via Muzio, which allows its users to post photos, video, audio and text.
When the group reached the Central West End, they caught up with St. Louis designer Emily Koplar of Wai Ming at Scape, where they were treated to tasty treats and cocktails. Guests took in the sights, visited the World Chess Hall of Fame and snapped pictures of the neighborhood's beautiful classic architecture.
The out-of-towners were in awe of the breathtaking details and design of many St. Louis landmarks, including the Cathedral Basilica, the Arch and the recently renovated St. Louis Public Library. Merging the city’s thriving fashion community with locally owned businesses, restaurants and tourist attractions, the event earned St. Louis even more fans and followers from across the country.
