Best of the Runway: Spring Into Fashion at STLFW Day One
Casual-wear and neutrals with pops of spring brights dominated the runway at the first night of Saint Louis Fashion Week festivities, held last evening at the Saint Louis Galleria. Guests enjoyed a high energy runway show premiering the season’s top looks from several stores including Fossil, Anthropologie, bebe and more.

Mixed prints paired with heels and sandals from Aldo had us all lusting for summer during Anthropologie’s set, where its final look was our top pick of the vibrant collection.
Cool neutrals like this sleek khaki summer suit would make the perfect palette for your office wardrobe.
Always adding just the right amount of sass, bebe presented several bold looks that brought the Miami heat. Our favorite look had to be the bold green jump suit worn by Dakota of Mother Model Management, who was accessorized with a Carmen Miranda-esque flair…and that belt!
Fossil has us wishing we could hit the road in their newest collection that featured classic American fashion and styling with pops of green and plaid. This menswear look was our top pick, featuring their signature Pacific Blue, layered perfectly with a chambray button up underneath, reversible blue/plaid jacket and the perfect tan summer oxford.
Francesca’s Collections with shoes by Sperry
We love a good mixed print, and this tribal black-and-white-meets-red-orange combo quickly made it to the top of our lust list. Tan sandals by Sperry kept the look summer chic and practical for a day at the park or frolicking around at an outdoor festival.
Tommy Bahama is a master at showcasing neutral yet tropical summer looks that look effortless. We loved both the breeziness and styling of this look featuring a light white top, twist-textured skirt (that’s perfect for travel), and possibly the perfect summer hat.
Masters in denim, True Religion kept their collection simple and to-the-point. We loved the white eyelet tank and dark wash of the skinny denim–which when dressed up with the perfect Aldo summer platform shoe, makes for a cute night out look.
White House Black Market
Bold black, clean white and bold floral kept this classy collection stocked with a healthy mix of both office and night out looks. Can you tell we are wishing for a sexy summer jumpsuit to show up in our closets this spring?
