We are headed to NYFW, so you know we need to allow all the space we can for multiple outfit changes. Thank goodness for makeup artist and Beauty Files expert Kat Hinkle who—while on the road herself—was eager to share a list of five of her favorite product recommendations for even the most avid traveler.

1/ Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments
Sugar Lip Treatments are proven to keep lips moisturized for six hours with their exclusive blend of moisture-preserving sugar (hence the name), antioxidants, grapeseed oil and SPF 15. Sugar Lip Treatment comes in untinted or multiple other colors such as petal, fig and ruby to name a few. The tinted colors add a fresh bitten look to your lips that you can easily apply without looking into a mirror.

2/ Maybelline Lash Sensational
Forget your mascara at home? Maybelline’s Lash Sensational is a great mascara you can find at any Target, Walmart, or Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid, etc. Its patented fanned brush creates a full lash line along with the liquid ink formula that easily coats the whole lash for a dramatic effect.

3/ Clear Brow Gel
Brows are often overlooked, especially while traveling or when in a hurry. However, they frame your eyes—and your eyes are what everyone looks at when they are talking to you. It’s amazing that a little clear brow gel can do to complete a look (especially when trying to impress). It’s also a lifesaver for those stubborn flyaway hairs. Comb those brows in place then add a bit up top to keep those pesky baby hairs down.

4/ MAC’s Lightful C Tinted Cream SPF 30 with Radiance Booster
I have oily skin and this is one of the only CC or BB creams I have found that my skin can handle. It is not full coverage but a lifesaver if you need to run out the door or are traveling. It also is a great thing to work out in because it evens out your skin tone but if you sweat it off, you won’t ruin clothes or notice streaks. It soothes skin, improves clarity, reduces the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles/pores and helps to control shine.

5/ Favorite Natural Palette
Finding a small neutral palette of eye shadows gives you the freedom to create many looks. Find a dark or black color you can use for a liner, a color that matches your brow to fill in your brow and any of the above can be used as a shadow on your lid. Usually three shadows will do, a light, medium and dark brown.
