Sept. 8: Sofar Sounds St. Louis Concert at a Secret Location
Sofar Sounds St. Louis presents a live concert at a secret location on Thursday evening, Sept. 8 in the Dutchtown neighborhood. The artist and location details have not been released. Sept. 8: Apollo 16: A St. Louis Hip-Hop Showcase
Blank Space is hosting a hip-hop showcase on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 9pm-1am, featuring an all-local lineup. The event includes live performances by J’Demul, Less, Anthony Lucius, Najii Person, The Knuckles, a DJ set by DJ MAHF and visual projections by Louis Quatorze.

Sept. 9: Exhibition Opening and 10-Year Anniversary Celebration of the Kemper Art Museum
The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum presents “Real / Radical / Psychological: The Collection on Display,” the first-ever Museum-wide installation of its permanent collection, opening on Friday, Sept. 9 from 6-10pm. The opening commemorates the 10th anniversary of Kemper Art Museum and the founding of Washington University’s Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. The evening event will include local food trucks, live music and a photo booth by “Oh So Vivant.”

Sept. 9: “Supper Club” Mural Debut by Edo Rosenblith
The opening reception for the debut of visual artist Edo Rosenblith’s massive mural, “Supper Club,” will be at TechArtista on Friday, Sept. 9 from 7-11pm. The mural, completed over the course of two summers, is an impressive 24×10 feet piece of art. The evening will include DJ entertainment, complimentary beverages, and a cash bar. Attendees are asked to RSVP online.

Sept. 9: “Sister Act” Coming to STAGES St. Louis
STAGES St. Louis presents “Sister Act,” a Broadway stage version of the beloved Hollywood comedy film by the same name, for its opening night performance on Friday, Sept. 9 at 8pm. The show runs through Sunday, Oct. 9, offering more than 30 performances to the St. Louis audience. A list of scheduled show times and dates, along with individual tickets are available online.
