At The Biergarten Bierfest, industry experts will guide guests through the brewing process and even offer them the opportunity to sip a sample of beer directly from the finishing tank. The brewmasters will also be on hand along with chef Travis Odle to provide tips on how to properly pair beer with food. “The Biergarten is the perfect place for beer lovers to get a deeper look at the expertise that goes into brewing their favorite beers,” said Dan Jansen, assistant brewmaster at Anheuser-Busch. “Bierfest is an enhanced beer festival experience that’s sure to be a summer highlight.”

Guests can experience firsthand how flavors complement each other by visiting five tasting stations scattered throughout The Biergarten. At the Bud Light Lime “Ritas” Station, Bierfest-goers can sample the Lime-A-Rita line while enjoying the Caribbean flavors found in the jerk chicken topped with pineapple and mango salsa.

Fans of Hoegaarden and Leffe will want to swing by the Belgian Trio Station where coriander-dusted and bacon-wrapped scallops will be balanced by the smooth, characteristic finish of the old-world style brews.

Rich, Beechwood-smoked ribs will be served up at the Shock Top Station alongside the refreshing Belgian White, Lemon Shandy or Twisted Pretzel Wheat. Even a sweet tooth can be satisfied while sipping a beer thanks to an apple crisp served alongside Johnny Appleseed, Shock Top Honey Crisp or Stella Artois Cidre at the Apple Station.

The Biergarten Bierfest will also nod to the rich brewing history of the region and mark the 250th anniversary of St. Louis by serving up Faust, an early American pilsner that originally debuted in 1884. The historic brew is now being offered exclusively at The Biergarten and the Budweiser Brew House at Ballpark Village. At Bierfest, Faust will be found at the Unique to The Biergarten Station where it will be served with Biergarten sliders topped with cheese, onion and bacon.

Tickets for The Biergarten Bierfest are $25 per adult (of legal drinking age only). A VIP experience is available for $35 and includes a commemorative glass and hat, and the opportunity to taste beer poured directly from the finishing tank.
