At this level, the brewing giant joins the ranks of donors Bank of America, Peabody Energy and US Bank, but Anheuser-Busch is the only Downtown Founder member that’s not directly located within the neighborhood boundaries of Downtown.

“Downtown St. Louis is downtown to the entire region,” Margarita Flores, Vice President of Community Affairs at Anheuser-Busch, said in a release. “Our commitment to the St. Louis region began in 1852 and remains a top priority for Anheuser-Busch. We look forward to contributing to the progress and momentum underway at the heart of our region by partnering with other members of The Partnership for Downtown St. Louis. We see this as another opportunity to help bring to light the many assets and attributes that make our city great.”

More than 200 companies and organizations across the region are members of the Partnership for Downtown St. Louis.

The Partnership also manages the Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District, which supplements city services to make Downtown St. Louis a cleaner, safer and more inviting place.
