ALIVE On The Scene: STLFW's Neiman Marcus Fashion Chat And Presentation
Saint Louis Fashion Week got off to a stylish start at Neiman Marcus last night as accessories designer Lisa Freede, Frank & Eileen creative director Audrey McLoghlin and fashion designer Jonathan Simkhai made exclusive appearances for the Neiman Marcus Fashion Chat and Presentation. A runway-meets-presentation format provided the perfect format for the designers to comment on their latest lines, flown in exclusively and shown for the first time in Neiman Marcus St. Louis.
DJ Keeno provided background music to get guests in a sartorial mood as they perused looks from each of the designers—those at the event were treated to a first look at Simkhai’s separates-focused collection, which is exclusively available in St. Louis’ Neiman Marcus. Attendees were also able to nibble on The Hive’s gourmet popcorn and treats from Zettie’s while sipping Skinnygirl prosecco and Pinnacle Vodka cocktails.
The event benefitted the Center of Creative Arts (COCA), the largest multidisciplinary arts institution in the St. Louis metropolitan area. It runs the Urban Arts program, which provides incredible outreach to low-income youth. Neiman Marcus presented COCA an additional donation of $1,000 at the start of the show, bringing the donated total to around $6,000.
