ALIVE On The Scene: Pins And Needles Fashion Show
It was a packed house at the newly revamped Gallery 400 on Saturday where four talented, emerging designers competed in the Pins and Needles Fashion Show in an effort to win a spot a Saint Louis Fashion Week, a prize package from Babylock, a lookbook shot by Attilio D’Agostino and a $1,200 production package with Moxi Enterprises. The event was headlined by local menswear designer Paulie Gibson.
Jacqueline Madey (Jacqueline Nicole), Nikki Fizer (No Human Intentions), Jummy Thomas (Ola) and Truly Alvarenga (Pink Elephants Designs) showcased their individual design aesthetics to judges, who awarded rocker-chic Pink Elephants Designs with the top prize and Jacqueline Nicole as runner-up. Julia Angell of Mother Model Management was the winner of the modeling competition portion of the show earning a spot at Saint Louis Fashion Week.
