ALIVE On The Scene: Craft Alliance ARTrageous GOLD Ball

 In Style

Craft Alliance celebrated its 50th anniversary in style this past Saturday at the Palladium, where supporters of the arts attended the much anticipated ARTrageous Ball—this year in the theme of GOLD. Guests came dressed to impress, toasting the local arts community while bidding on unique craft items during a silent and live auction. The evening’s festivities included an exciting announcement presented by local performers that the new name of the organization to represent it for the next 50 years is Craft Alliance: Center of Art + Design. All of the proceeds for the event supported the organization’s free community exhibition and education programs that reach nearly 60,000 people each year. ALIVE was on the scene in support of the organization’s mission, and of course, to scope out the style.
