A Small Space In Shrewsbury Houses A Growing Family Of Six
When it comes to making good use of a small space, Maeghan Moeller, co-owner of Clayton fashion, home and gift boutique Lusso, is definitely a pro. Moeller and her family of nearly seven (plus a pup!) inhabit a little house in Shrewsbury that may be small in size, but is larger than life when it comes to love and positive energy. Here’s a look inside:

House occupants and occupations?
Maeghan, contractor husband Bill and kids: Maeve, 7, Liam, 6, Kane, 4, Conal, 2 and a baby coming this fall … a plus very large dog named Fotch.
How would you describe the decor in your home?
The decor in our house is easy-going and modern. I love Jonathan Adler. My children can spot his pieces at this point … I might have a problem. We like to mix second hand treasures with new pieces to give our house character.
What was your inspiration behind your decor and home organization?
Our decor is ever changing. I love to keep our house evolving. I grew up with a mom who would change her rugs and pillows per season so that has definitely made an impact on my creative drive. I love pillows! I think its such an easy way to change a whole room around. and I also love art with words … maybe too much. And we live in a small house with lots of little people so I have to maximize all the space. I try to be very organized—and I hate clutter!
What are some of your favorite places to purchase home decor items?
Well, I of course buy most of my decor at my shop, LUSSO, but I also love to stop into Treasure Isles, Ikea and Target.
What is your favorite part of your home and why?
This is so silly but I love our mud room. I love how bright the room is and the wallpaper makes me happy.
Do you have a favorite individual piece of furniture, décor or art? Why is it so special?
My husband and I both choice art as our answer. My husband picked the art in our sons room. It is a neon sign (that we designed and created) that reads BE KIND. It reminds us, and hopefully our kids, of the most important rule of life.
