8 Patios To Relax On This Summer
It’s patio season, St. Louis and time to finally eat your favorite meals outside. This week we’ve teamed up with eight local restaurants with gorgeous patios for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
With 30 to 40 seats outside leading into BARcelona Tapas’ open French doors into its bar and dining room, you are sure to find a nice spot to relax and enjoy a few tapas and sangrias, or even BARcelona’s top beer—Estrella Damm. The popular nightspot is a fan-favorite among the locals for Happy Hour and more.
Known for its giant, glass accordion doors that extend from the bar and lounge out to the patio, Prasino is one of the top places to dine outdoors. Enjoy a mid-bike-ride brunch or a fine dinner with a breeze. Prasino is part of a newer development called The Streets of St. Charles and is conveniently located near many urban and outdoor amenities. The full menu is available, even happy hour, any weekday from 3-7 pm.
Patios and happy hours go hand-in-hand, that’s why Bishop’s Post in Chesterfield offers happy hour specials Monday through Friday. Enjoy live music on the spacious patio next to Bishop’s Post’s waterfall on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Be sure to pair your Thursday night entertainment with a half-priced bottle of wine. Grab your friends, neighbors and family for food and fun al-fresco.
Patio season is upon us and Fleur de Lilies has a patio you don’t want to miss out on. Enjoy specialty drink paring events and a unique fusion of Creole- and Asian-inspired brunch options. Be sure to reserve your spot on the spacious patio for Fleur de Lilies’ Happy Hour menu on Monday through Friday.
Jumbo margaritas aren’t the only reason to stop by Amigos Cantina. With specialty dishes like marinated fajitas, mojo shrimp and roast pork carnitas, all served on its delightful redesigned patio, it’s no wonder people rave about Amigos. Enjoy an evening of traditional Mexican tacos, homemade guacamole and margaritas you won’t stop talking about on the covered porch or its stylish patio.
Whether you’re enjoying bottomless mimosas at brunch or bangers and mash for dinner, the patio at The Scottish Arms is hard to beat when it comes to enjoying a meal in St. Louis. Enjoy a proper Scottish afternoon or night full of whiskey, delicious food and wonderful conversation outside on The Scottish Arms’ spacious patio.
With the warm weather upon us, The Shaved Duck is one of the best places to go to eat outdoors. Opt for one of the tables outside the ever-popular restaurant and enjoy people-watching in the Tower Grove East neighborhood. The large patio accommodates all guests—including your four-legged friends—where you can relax after work or on the weekend, dine with friends and listen to live soul and jazz music.
Since 1996, Vito’s Sicilian Pizzeria & Ristorante has been serving authentic and award-winning pizza alongside authentic family recipes. While the inside of the restaurant is warm and inviting, the patio is the highlight of Vito’s. Enjoy a cold beverage and a nice hot slice al fresco on the charming outdoor patio with spectacular views of Saint Louis University and the Arch.
