Hey music fans! Looking for a way to get out of the house this week without draining the wallet? Here’s 5 local shows that are sure to entertain for just $5 or less! 

1/Revival Concert Series Presents: Open Mic ft. Richie Kihlken Band
Tuesday, Nov. 3, 8pm @ Foam

Just because it’s an open mic doesn’t mean it’s not an excellent show. Richie Kihlken Band, who you’ve seen packing houses at venues like Broadway Oyster Bar and Off Broadway, hosts the Revival Concert Series at Foam, featuring some of the best talent in the city. Sign up and perform or sit back and enjoy the music. FREE

2/ 3 Bands For 3 Bucks: Lizzie Weber, Frontal Lobe, Drown Fish
Thursday, Nov. 5, 9pm @ Venice Cafe

It doesn’t get any better than three bands for $3—especially this line-up. Lizzie Weber is a folk singer-songwriter whose style resembles that of Mazzy Star. Frontal Lobe is a rock, pop, jazz, blues outfit and all-around good time. Drown Fish, featuring Suzie Cue (curator of the event), features some of the best musicians in the city. Don’t miss out! $3

3/ Kierston White feat. Zacksquatch & friends
Thursday, Nov. 5 9pm @ San Loo

One of the newer venues on Cherokee Street, San Loo, presents a night of Americana folk music featuring Kierston White (Shawnee, OK). St. Louis acts billed include Zack Sloan (of Carriage House) as Zacksquatch, Missouri Dave (of Maness Brothers), Cara Wegener (that’s me!) and Lisa Houdei as Le’ Ponds. $5

4/ Obviously Offbeat CD Release w/ The Maness Brothers & Traveling Sound Machine
Friday, Nov. 6 8pm @ Melt

Kevin Koehler (you might know him from Illphonics) debuts the release of his solo project, Obviously Offbeat, at Melt on Nov. 6. RFT’s 2015 best blues band, The Maness Brothers, and RFT’s 2015 best new band, Traveling Sound Machine, kick off the night. You’re in for a night of great songwriting, groovy tunes and waffles of course! $5

5/ SlushWave, Meghan Rose & The Bones, Ramona Deflowered
Thursday, Nov. 5, 9pm @ Schlafly Taproom

Grab a pint of locally crafted beer and enjoy a show that is truly rock ‘n’ roll. Meghan Rose brings along the full band to sing songs about madness, love and obsessions. Rebel girl band Ramona Deflowered continually brings the power, while shoegaze alternative rock group, SlushWave, will keep you dreaming through the night. FREE
