5 Reasons Not To Miss Art Outside This Weekend
A weekend full of fun, beer, art and music is all you need and Schlafly Bottleworks is bringing it to you this weekend. Art Outside is back again and promises to bring more local art and beer in your life. This week we’ve teamed up with Schlafly to bring you the top five reasons why you shouldn’t miss Art Outside.
1/ Local Art In One Location
This is not your ordinary art fair. Art Outside will be held at Schlafly Bottleworks, where you can view quality art from local STL artists all in one amazing location.
2/ Live Music
While browsing local artwork and deciding on what pieces to take home, you’ll be listening to 10 different local STL bands, including Letter to Memphis, River Kittens and The Lonesome Pines. Music starts at 5:30pm on Friday, noon on Saturday and 12:30pm on Sunday. Be sure to get there early to have first dibs on great work and see the bands up close.
3/ Local Beer
Enjoy the artwork of local artists while sampling fantastic local beer. Held at Schlafly Bottleworks, Art Outside will be providing guests with their signature Schlafly brews. Come show your support not only for local artists, but for your local brewery.
4/ 50+ Artists from Around STL
Where else can you go that has more than 50 artists from all around STL showcasing their work in the local area? Now in its 12th year, Art Outside strives to bring all aspects of local art together to ensure local artists are being supported and can grow their business.
5/ Three-Day Art Event
Afraid of only having one day outside to enjoy art, music, beer and food? Don’t worry. Art Outside is a three-day art event that draws approximately 15,000 visitors each year. The event will be held this week on Sept. 11, 12 and 13. Make sure to get up early this weekend and head to downtown Maplewood for a day of drinks, art and music.
