5 Must-Have Looks from the Rungolee Spring 2013 Collection

 In Style

If Rungolee isn’t in your fashion vocabulary—or, more importantly, in your closet—then it is time to make a change. Rungolee designer Anjali Kamra invited us into her gorgeous Ladue home this week to celebrate the launch of her Spring 2013 collection. A poolside runway show accompanied with small bites and sips courtesy of Elaia & Olio made for a perfect Tuesday evening. Attendees were encouraged to shop the collection after the show, and a percentage of the evening’s sales benefited the Contemporary Art Museum and Saint Louis Ballet.

Rungolee is truly the embodiment of Kamra’s spirit. Featherweight fabrics surprise you, exposed zippers abound, and her impeccable hand-beaded detailing simply cannot be found on a rack. Her silhouettes are feminine and at times border on flirtatious–the perfect combination of beauty and purpose.

5 Must-Have Pieces from the Rungolee Spring 2013 Collection
A tough choice, no doubt, here are our fabulous picks from the show…

1. We are obsessed with this Lanvin-inspired blouse. Styled with distressed denim and pumps, it is the perfect combination of feminine chic.

2: Day dress anyone? We can’t think of a more perfect number for those wedding and baby shower invites that are pouring in by the dozens. Rungolee is known for its embellishments and flawless embroidery—this fun and flirty number was just one of many with the ornate detailing that caught our eye.

3. We simply can’t resit an all-white outfit for summer, and this jacket is the perfect add-on for an evening out. We also love the idea of mixing the jacket with a casual t-shirt and denim shorts for day.

4. The embellished neckline on this show-stopper combined with the simple silhouette is beyond chic—a perfect date-night ensemble.

5. Who doesn’t love a little drama? This gorgeous silk cape was the proud recipient of many “oohs” and “ahhs” at the show. The best part? The collar is removable and would look great alone with a simple tank.

If you can’t wait until the next trunk show to snag one of these looks, there’s good news: Rungolee just launched its e-commerce site so you can shop the looks anytime, anywhere.
