4 Reasons to Attend Neighborfood

 In Culture

Neighborfood is a celebratory afternoon of food, family and community in The Loop. We’ve got four very good reasons you should buy your Neighborfood tickets now to “live it, love it, and eat in it” this weekend!

1. Eight University City Restaurants. Your $10 admission fee gets you entrance into eight of The Loop’s hottest, most famous and tastiest restaurants: Blueberry Hill, Fitz’s, Mission Taco Joint, Nico, Pi Pizzeria, Ranoush, Seoul Taco and Three Kings Public House. You’ll also automatically receive one food or drink item from one of the participating restaurants. Additional tickets can be purchased at the event or ordered ahead of time.

2. Sweet Charity. A portion of your ticket proceeds benefit your choice of the following local nonprofit organizations: Animal House, Gateway Greening, Habitat for Humanity St. Louis, Missouri Coalition for the Environment, Prison Performing Arts, The Green Center or Urban Harvest STL. While purchasing your ticket, enter the promotion code for your charity of choice to ensure your favorite cause receives the donation.

3. Raffle. With the purchase of your ticket, you’ll receive five raffle tickets. At the end of the day, your ticket could win you a gift certificate from one of the eight featured restaurants!

4. The Loop. In addition to food and family, Neighborfood is also about celebrating the community we live in. Even if you’re not from University City, you will enjoy spending your day on The Loop, “one of the ten great streets of America,” according to The American Planning Association. We think it’s pretty great too, with its eclectic mix of restaurants, shops and community members. Full of both history and fresh energy, The Loop is six blocks full of something for everyone.
