4 Instagram Accounts to Follow for Creative Inspiration

One of my favorite things about Instagram is the sense of inspiration I feel after seeing some incredibly creative accounts. Usually this inspiration happens at two in the morning when I can’t sleep and all I can do is scroll and scroll and scroll, but inspired I feel. Here are four local Instagram accounts to follow when you’re in need of some creativity.

It’s hard to explain why I love this body of work–because that’s the only thing you can call it–so much. Spitz gets very intimate, raw and personal in her photo essay of her mom. It’s so moving, inspiring and makes me want to create something personal of my own.

Boy, oh boy, does Foldy knows how to work an angle. From personal portraits of friends to beautiful lighting in buildings, Foldy’s instagram will make you want to recreate your own art work.

As a former floral designer who got out of the business because of Valentine’s Day (I know, I know!), this account makes me want to dig out my gloves and pruning shears.

Never have I wanted to weave until I happened upon Ashley Thurman’s account from a friend’s suggestion. I would love to attempt the pieces she creates but know mine would not compare, so it’s best to gaze at her account in envy.
