Atomic Cowboy
The Grove
Atomic’s kitchen stays open every day from 11am-2am. Their Tex-Mex/Southwestern starters are reasonably priced and mouthwatering. We love the Sweet Potato or Smoked Chicken and Poblano Empanadas, but if you’re in the mood for something more hearty, try Mamacitas Ancho Fried Chicken & Waffles.

Strange Donuts
Maplewood, Kirkwood
Satisfy your sweet tooth with Strange Donuts’ late-night dones. All of the old school favorites are only $1 everyday. Of course, we recommend going off the rails and trying the strangers like the Pi Pizza Done or Bogart’s Barbecue Rib Done.

Mission Taco Joint
Soulard, The Loop
Forgo Taco Bell’s delicious mush and hit up Mission Taco Joint in the wee hours. With two convenient locations in Soulard and the Delmar Loop, Mission serves as a top Mexican late-night stop serving food until 1am. Happy hour begins at 10pm and boasts $2 tacos.

City Diner
South Grand, The Fox
If you find yourself hungry on South Grand this weekend or famished after leaving a show at The Fox, City Diner is an easy stop for classic comfort food. South Grand’s kitchen is open 24 hours a day on weekends and the location at The Fox cooks until 12am.

Byrd & Barrel
Benton Park West
The locally owned Byrd & Barrel serves fried chicken fast and has a drive-thru window open until 1am. Hit it on the way home or stop in until 1:30am to taste the eclectic menu, listen to live outdoor music and wrap up your bar-hopping.

Kingside Diner
Central West End
Breakfast served all day, open until 1:30am on weekends. Enough said.

Three Kings Public House
The Delmar Loop, Des Peres
The late-night menu may be short and sweet at Three Kings Public House but it includes all of the staples one desires after a long evening of beer tasting. Choose from toasted ravs, fried pickles, wings, nachos, fries or an all-American burger.

BB’s Jazz, Blues and Soups
BB’s gets in some of the best blues musicians in the country and stays open late until 3am, with live music playing until 2:30am. Stop in after a game or make a night of it. Their Cajun- and Creole-inspired menu will keep you full all evening and into the early morning hours.

Guerilla Street Food
Tower Grove East
With an expanded menu of Filipino fare, the popular food truck’s brick-and-mortar is worth a pop-in on your party night. Open weekends until 1am.

Courtesy Diner
Cheltenham, Webster Groves, Southwest Garden
The home of the St. Louis slinger is open 24 hours and welcoming of stumble-ins at all three locations. We love the low-priced menu packed with traditional diner fare.

Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar
Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar rounds out our list as one of our favorite Downtown St. Louis late-night spots. Get a lot or a little from their cheese and charcuterie a la carte menu. Then finish it off with a nightcap before calling Uber for a ride home.

Do you and your friends have a late-night dining spot that you think should have been on this list? We’d love to know. Tweet me at @RachelBrandt or @ALIVEMagSTL and let us know what we should try next.
