1. The White Blouse

Classic and cool, a white blouse is a wardrobe staple. Whether dressed up or down, layered or unbuttoned, designer spring collections were stocked with a slew of whites to keep your look simple and chic all spring long.

2. The Matching Set

Long or short, solid or patterned, a matching set is a spring must-have. Wear together, layered up, or mix-and-matched and your look will guarantee to turn heads.

3. Sneakers

They aren’t just for workouts anymore. Athletic shoes like Nike shocks have made a street style comeback in a big way and are being paired with everything from suits and mini skirts to dresses and denim.

5. Painter’s Palette

Like brush strokes on a canvas, painterly prints like this one seen at Versace are giving art pop a new edge.

6. Tees Gone Glam

Stemming from the street style pros, the trend of dressing up a tee is one of my personal favorites. Add your favorite bling, sassy slacks and a pair of pumps and you are ready to strut your stuff like the best of them.

7. Pastels Meet … Everything

Pair your favorite spring pastels with something unexpected this season.

8. Tomboy Chic

As you know from our NYFW roundups, knee-length shorts will be everywhere next season, adding the perfect bit of tomboy style to any outfit. Layered jackets, hats, baggy slacks and over-sized blazers are other key elements.

9. Athletics

Sporty-chic made its official comeback last year, but the trend goes on with designer collections still pumping out fashion-forward athletic gear. Go head-to-toe with the trend or simply add a piece here and there to freshen up your look.

10. Fringe

There’s something about summer fringe that just seems right. In lieu of the classic fringe tee, step it up a notch and snag an amazing fringe-y piece that you can dress up or down and enjoy all season long.
